I suck my thumb. That's right. I am nearly 43 years old and I STILL suck my thumb. It's not as though my parents did not try everything in their power to get me to quit. It's just a part of who I am in this life, I guess. There's my confession.
NOW! The IDEA!
I am so excited about the idea that I had when wrestling with how to manage this giant chew I have bitten off with the Quilting Across America Tour. With a little bit of thought I came up with a much better way to make my personalized instruction (truly, my preferred way to mentor machine quilters is on an intimate basis) accessible to every quilter. I played around with my shopping cart on the website and discovered that I can create a product that represents each month of the year and I can add days of the month as OPTIONS so that people can pick the day they want to have a One-on-One or Quilting With a Friend day with me in the Art Bus or your own studio!
Under the heading of each month of the year you will find the areas that I will be in and the days that I am available. This will help keep the costs to the student and environmental damage of the Tour down to a minimum and will be much more accessible to everyone!
Please be patient with me as I add the rest of the months through 2018. I am still available to speak to your guild or teach at your shop and this will make it easier to tell when the Art Bus plans to be the closest to you!
I also forgot to mention how thrilling it was to see the spread about me and the Art Bus in Fons & Porter Love of Quilting Magazine! If you missed it you can see the on-line version here:
Oh, The Places We Will Go!
Be sure to bring your copy to our workshop so I can sign it for you!
